Wallenius Wilhelmsen has become the latest shipowner to plead guilty to charges of criminal cartel conduct in Australia.

The charges relate to the transportation of vehicles to Australia between June 2011 and July 2012, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) said in a statement.

In February, Wallenius Wilhelmsen added $30m to its provisions relating to price-fixing investigations and said it expected these proceedings to be "largely resolved" in the first half of 2020.
