Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has added to its maritime team in Canada with the completion of a merger with regional firm Bull Housser.
The combination was first announced in September, continuing a North America growth path for Norton Rose, which merged with Houston-based Fulbright & Jaworski in 2012.
The deal brings eight maritime lawyers to Norton Rose Fulbright.
William McFetridge, a partner at Norton Rose's Vancouver office, said the combination likely gives the expanded firm one of the largest practises in Canada.
