The Women's International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) has rebooted its Uruguay location, having returned to the minimum requirement of 10 managing members.
"WISTA International has seen a significant amount of interest in South America, and we are excited to warmly welcome WISTA Uruguay," said Despina Panayiotou Theodosiou, president of WISTA International.
WISTA Uruguay was initially founded in 2008 in accordance with Uruguayan law as South America's first national WISTA Association (NWA), said president Kirsten Schandy.
