Seaspan says chief financial officer David Spivak is exercising a right to terminate his employment with the Vancouver-based shipowner.
Ryan Courson will be appointed Chief Financial Officer.
Spivak, 51, has been chief financial officer for Seaspan since May 2016. His tenure included pivotal moments for Seaspan including the bankruptcy of Hanjin Shipping, the downturn in containership markets and the departure of founding chief executive Gerry Wang.
