Two LNG carriers that have been in virtual lay-up in a Spanish shipyard for three years have relocated to Norway.

The 126,400-cbm LNG Gemini and LNG Leo (both built 1978) left Navantia Shiprepairers’ Fene-Ferrol yard in northern Spain last month, where they had been since October and December 2013 respectively.

The Moss-type vessels arrived in Haugesund, north of Stavanger on Norway’s west coast, just before Christmas where they are anchored close to each other.
