An environmental exhibition mounted by the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association (Helmepa) is being dedicated to the memory of the late Maria Tsakos.
“Let’s Change Habits, Not The Climate” is aimed at primary-school children on the well-known shipowner islands of Chios and Oinousses.
Earlier this month, Captain Panagiotis Tsakos together with Helmepa chairman Dr John Coustas, Chios mayor Polydoros Lamprinoudis and other members inaugurated the exhibition housed in the historic building of the Maria Tsakos Foundation in Chios, where the International Centre for Maritime Research and Tradition is based.
