Shreyas World Navigation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Transworld Holdings, which also owns Middle East-Asia feedership operator Orient Express Lines, has placed an SGD 83m ($50.5m) order for two 1,030-teu ships at Singapore Technologies Marine (STM) shipyard, which includes options for a further pair at SGD 42m each.
These are the first newbuildings for the Middle East/Indian Ocean feedership group, which is planning a major expansion.
