Partners in Mozambique’s potentially massive MzLNG project will start looking at their shipping strategy from early next year.

Steve Hoyle, who is vice-president of LNG marketing at project partner Anadarko Petroleum Corp, tells TradeWinds that around 12 vessels are likely to be required for the initial two-train, 10-million-tonnes-per-annum (mtpa) first phase. He says the project would likely ship its cargoes on an ex-ship basis.
