The world’s first LNG floating storage and regasification unit is scheduled to leave Singapore’s Keppel Shipyard tomorrow to start its journey to Brazil where its will go to work for oil and gas giant Petrobras.



The 129,000-cbm Golar Spirit, the first of five vessels controlled by Golar LNG to be earmarked for FSRU conversion, will be installed at the Pecem terminal off the north-eastern state of Ceara.
