NYK Bulk & Projects Carriers (NBPC) has seen an increase of more than 5% in cargo volumes since it was formed through the merger of NYK Global Bulk (NYK GB) and Hinode Line — despite a small reduction in fleet size.
Speaking to TradeWinds, company president and chief executive Masamichi Morooka says NBPC currently operates close to 190 vessels, including a number of multipurpose (MPP) and heavylift ships.
