Christian Berg is merging his start-up Bech Offshore with GC Rieber Shipping as he takes over as CEO of the combined company.
Rieber said Berg brings significant industry experience to the role as well as the newly established venture, which was formed this year to find work for ships in lay-up or to manage ones seized by banks, as a part of distressed niche growing out of the global crisis for offshore support vessels (OSVs).
