Nasdaq-listed OceanPal has re-fixed its sole capesize bulker for more than twice its previous rate.
The Diana Shipping spin-off, launched last year, said chartering giant Koch Shipping had taken its 172,000-dwt Salt Lake City (built 2005) for between four and seven months at $29,750 per day.
The rate will have 5% deducted for third-party commissions.
