US explorer Victor Vescovo has found a buyer for his unique diving and research vessel Pressure Drop after a 20-month hunt.
The deal includes the ultra-deep diving submersible Limiting Factor.
Vescovo said the buyer is billionaire Gabe Newell’s Inkfish company, which will dedicate the two units to a multi-year scientific mission to continue explorations of the world’s deepest unmapped oceans.
