Canada’s Seapeak has completed its $700m takeover of Denmark’s Evergas to boost its gas shipping fleet.
It acquired the two companies comprising the operator — Greenship Gas Trust and Greenship Gas Manager — from France’s Jaccar Holdings in an all-cash deal.
“With the acquisition complete, Evergas will rebrand and operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Seapeak,” the company said in a statement.
