A grounded general cargoship has been brought into port off Sweden.

The 3,000-dwt Atlantic (built 1980) was refloated on Wednesday after getting stuck on rocks south of Oskarshamn on Saturday.

The Swedish coast guard said the tow operation took three hours.

Oil was removed from the vessel before the refloating.

The hull was said to be up against rocks in three places, but no pollution or injuries have been reported.
