Icon Offshore has seen its third quarter net profit almost cut half compared to a year ago, despite higher vessel utilization.
It made MYR 1.5m ($365,000) for the three months ended 30 September 2017 against the MY 2.7m seen 12 months earlier.
The Malaysian offshore vessel operator saw revenue dip almost 8% to MYR 58m, while operating costs for the quarter inched up over 4% to MYR 39.3m.
