Chios Navigation has landed a three-year charter for a 50,000-dwt product tanker newbuilding to be delivered from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) next April.
The ship was ordered in January as the first tanker newbuilding for the Greek owner in seven years. It has been fixed to ST Shipping for $15,250 per day in a deal that includes a profit-sharing element, European brokers say.
