Oslo-listed shipowner Stolt-Nielsen looks poised to boost its order total for small-scale LNG carriers.
A US presentation given by Golar LNG, the company’s strategic partner on small-scale LNG shipping, details that Stolt-Nielsen has contracted four 7,500-cbm newbuildings.
Last year, Stolt-Nielsen Gas booked two firm 7,500-cbm LNG carriers with Singapore’s Keppel Offshore & Marine subsidiary Keppel Singmarine and secured three optional slots with the yard, one of which has since expired.
