Evangelos Pistiolis' Central Group has placed an order for four MR tankers at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD).
The deal by the Greek shipowner's private vehicle takes his investment in newbuildings at Hyundai group yards during the past half decade to about $800m.
The 50,000-dwt series lifts the number of high-specification tankers contracted by Pistiolis' companies at facilities controlled by Hyundai Heavy Industries to 20 over this period.
