The world's three largest cruise companies have canceled all Cuban itineraries after the US government this week banned travel to the island nation.

Arnold Donald-led Carnival Corp, which owns 105 cruiseships, has been sailing five vessels from Carnival Cruise Line and another two Holland America ships to Cuba from US ports.

The cruise juggernaut also planned to begin sailing its luxury-level Seabourn ships to the country in November, but those itineraries have been cancelled, spokesman Roger Frizzell said.
