New German bulker company OneBulk is in talks with potential partners to boost its 50-strong fleet.
The company was formed in April by Hamburg owners Bertling, Nordic Hamburg and Oskar Wehr.
Joint managing director Malte Sibberns told TradeWinds the operation is "absolutely" open to new members.
"New partners will help to improve our portfolio towards clients and at the same time we are creating additional synergies which will further optimise the results for the owners," he added.
