French membrane cargo containment system designer GTT is championing gravity based structures (GBS) as a solution for small-scale LNG projects as it announces details of its first GBS contract for the Novatek-led Arctic LNG 2 project.
GTT said today that it has signed a contract with Saren, the Russian joint venture of Renaissance Heavy Industries Russia and Saipem, for the detailed design and construction of three GBS structures for Arctic LNG 2.
