Brazil is investigating Danish owner AP Moller-Maersk and two shipbrokers over allegations of bribery involved in the awarding of contracts by Petrobras.
Federal agents have carried out 12 search and seizure warrants on Wednesday morning in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to collect evidence.
The moves are part of the Operation Car Wash probe into the state oil company launched in 2014.
