Shipowners have been put on alert in Angolan waters after another suspicious approach by a pirate skiff.
Piracy reporting organisation Maritime Domain Awareness for Trade-Gulf of Guinea (MDAT-GoG) said a white boat with people and a ladder on board was seen by a cargo vessel early on Thursday morning.
It was 50 nautical miles (93 km) north-west of Luanda's anchorage at the time.
