Nigeria's main LNG producer is considering expansion of its supply of the commodity both along its domestic coast and to other countries in Africa.

Nigeria LNG (NLNG) chief executive and managing director Tony Attah told a CWC webinar that the company is looking at “bringing LNG into country”, referring to domestic distribution to other energy-hungry regions of Nigeria.

He said that with the global market dwindling and high gas demand from Nigeria and Africa – where 50% of the population on that continent has no access to energy – NLNG sees a “huge opportunity”.
