Shipping gatherings seem to have become a thing of the past since the pandemic disrupted everyone’s working lives.
But Lavinia Bulk and Arrow Shipbroking decided to push on with their annual golf day in the laudable cause of helping to raise money for seafarers.
Rather than the now familiar virtual get-togethers on Zoom or Microsoft Teams, the day provided shipping folk with a rare opportunity to physically meet — on this occasion at the Coombe Hill Golf Club in the suburbs of London.
