Cruiseships will have to reportedly wait until the end of October to sail within US waters.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has prolonged a no-sail order through 31 October, USA Today has reported.

The agency wanted to extend it to 15 February but reset the expiry date to four days before the 3 November election in a compromise with the White House Task Force a person familiar with the order reportedly told the newspaper.
