Stena has turned to jumboisation to expand capacity on two 15-year-old Italian-built ropax ferries.
The work is being carried out on the 980-passenger Stena Lagan and Stena Mersey (both built 2005) at the Sedef Shipyard in Tuzla, Turkey.
Stena RoRo is responsible for the design and execution of the project, which includes dividing the ships in the middle and installing new mid-sections.
