Norway’s Hoegh LNG has fixed out one of its floating storage and regasification units for a year as a trading vessel and secured 12-month extension deals on two other FSRUs.

The moves secure interim business for the Oslo-listed company's ships as it pursues longer-term regasification business for them.

Hoegh said it had chartered out its 170,000-cbm Hoegh Gallant (built 2014) for 12 months from the FSRU’s redelivery from its current charter at the end of March.
