Seaspan Corp has taken its tally of newbuildings to 31 with an order for another six neo-panamax containerships.
The leading boxship owner has inked a deal with "a major shipyard" for six scrubber-fitted 15,000-teu containership newbuildings.
The deal comes on top of the 25 newbuildings that Seaspan has already ordered since November 2020, as well as two 24,000-teu vessels acquired as resales.
