UK owner Borealis Maritime is expanding its offshore vessel contingent with another fleet swoop.
The company has bought the remaining six platform supply vessels owned by Pearl Bidco, a company set up by lenders DNB and SEB during the bankruptcy of Scorpio Group-backed Hermitage Offshore Services in 2020.
The large vessels are the 4,200-dwt Hermit Power, Hermit Protector and Hermit Thunder (all built 2013), and the 4,100-dwt trio Hermit Storm (built 2015), Hermit Galaxy and Hermit Horizon (both built 2016).
