Oslo-listed Borr Drilling has agreed a cooperation deal with US giant Schlumberger.
Borr Drilling Management DMCC and Schlumberger will offer "integrated, performance-based" drilling contracts in the offshore jack-up market.
The aim is to capitalise on the US company's global foot print, infrastructure and technical expertise and Borr's modern rig fleet.
Borr said the move was the next step in "delivering safe, reliable and efficient drilling operations."
