Vallianz Holdings of Singapore has promoted its shipbuilding vice president to the role of chief operating officer (COO).
Elisa Woodward, 38, was the unanimous choice of the board, the company said.
Her previous experience includes conversion and repair project management, and she has been a commercial manager and director of newbuildings.
Vallianz, as well as owning ships, has a shipyard in Indonesia.
