Oslo-listed Farstad today announced deals for six anchor handlers in Australia.
Inpex has taken the 14,700-bhp Far Sabre (built 2008) and Far Sound (built 2007) for 140 days firm, with options running for up to 18 months.
Murphy Oil has fixed the 14,700-bhp Far Strait (built 2006) and Far Scimitar (built 2008) for three wells, Farstad told investors.
After completing its run with Murphy the Far Scimitar will be one of three vessels linking up with BHP Billiton in March 2015.
