Keppel Offshore & Marine’s Keppel Shipyard will work on the FPSO for Malaysian owner Bumi Armada’s unit Armada Kraken.
It will be a harsh-environment unit that is designed for operations in the North Sea.
It is scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2015.
The FPSO will have a storage capacity of 600,000 barrels.
The yard will carry out refurbishment and life extension works, upgrading of living quarters to accommodate 90 personnel, installation of an internal turret mooring system and installation and integration of topside process modules.
