Cairn Energy is thecustomer and the work will start off Andhra Pradesh later this month, using SCF’sseismic survey ship Vyacheslav Tikhonov (built 2011).
The eight-streamer vesselwill survey 1,000 square kilometres of ocean bed.
Nordic and SCF unit SCF Geowill also charter a supply ship and 10 chase vessels from Indian owners.
The project will last three months.
