Odfjell Drilling has won a charter extension from Statoil for its Deepsea Bergen semisubmersible.
The original $55m deal was signed in May for one firm well.
There were four options for three more wells each. One of these has now been declared by the oil major.
The option has been adjusted down to two firm wells, however, with an estimated duration of 75 days.
