Norway's Odfjell Drilling has signed a two-year drilling and maintenance deal with Abu Dhabi group TAQA Bratani.
The contract involves five platforms in the UK North Sea over two years.
Work starts in the third quarter, with additional yearly options attached.
Odfjell is currently performing platform drilling operations for BP on the UK continental shelf and will begin to work for Statoil on its Mariner platform in 2018.
