Cypriot owner Prosafe has amended and extended a floating accommodation unit charter with Petrobras Netherlands.

The Brazilian company will use the 500-person Safe Notos (built 2016) instead Safe Eurus, starting from the fourth quarter.

This was due to begin in the first three months of 2017.

The contract will also be extended by 222 days and is now worth $189m.

As part of the agreement, Prosafe has agreed a dayrate reduction of 14% for Safe Concordia from the second quarter.
