One body was recovered and another spotted, but not retrieved.
The search was called off on Sunday after beginning on Saturday when they were reportedmissing from the 20,100-dwt Timberland (built 2000) 110km north ofTerschelling.
Two helicopters sent from Germany struggled to stay aloft in gale-forcewinds and waves of 10 metres were recorded in the area.
The ship is operated by Imperial Ship Management of Sweden.
