A panamax bulker controlled by India’s Global United Shipping has joined the fleet of Shelton Navigation, marking the low-key Greek company’s first expansion move in three years.

According to online shipping database Equasis, Shelton took control of the 76,600-dwt Lady Maria Ocean (built 2007) earlier this month.

Shelton spent about $13m on the ship in late July, according to broker reports at the time, which revealed the deal without identifying the buyers.
