The company said the ship, Living Stone, will serve offshore energy markets from 2017.
It also confirmed a deal for a similar vessel, Apollo, at Uljanik in Croatia, a contract announced by the yard last November.
Living Stone will join DEME’s fleet of fall-pipe vessels.
It will have cable/umbilical loading and installation facilities plus advanced subsea construction capabilities and accommodation for 100 people.
