Fred Cheng has taken his return to shipowning a step forward with the addition of a 2001-built capesize.
His company Shinyo International has acquired the 172,964-dwt Bulk Prosperity from Grand China Shipping.
This will be the second vessel owned by Cheng’s company, following the addition of another capesize last spring.
The Bulk Prosperity will be renamed Shinyo Brilliance upon delivery in March or April.
