Lomar Shipping has shed one of its seven small chemical tankers and is considering divesting another.
The company confirmed the sale of the 13,200-dwt Bremen Trader (built 2006). The ship formally changed hands in February and is now listed in the fleet of Indonesia’s Bahari Nusantara under its new name, Michelle XXV.
Sources close to the deal said the vessel was sold for just below $8m and that Lomar was considering selling a sistership.
