Hamburg shipbroker Frachtcontor Group is ringing the changes as long-serving tanker boss Jens Moller retires after 47 years in the industry.
The generational shift will see Moller, 63, replaced as managing director of Frachtcontor Tanker Brokers on 1 January by 34-year-old Jacob Christian Pedersen.
The new chief only joined the company in October. The former Maersk Broker man has spent the last two years as chartering manager of Prime International.
