Croatian shipyard Brodosplit has signed contracts with Italy's Fincantieri to build hull blocks for two new cruiseships.

The deal is part of an agreement on long-term cooperation between the two companies, Brodosplit said.

This and other contracts to be signed soon will generate more than EUR 5m ($5.85m) per year in revenue from 2019 to 2025, it added.

The two shipbuilders began collaborating in 2014.
