Chinese shipbuilding orders are still trending down in the year to the close of November, according to official figures.
China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry says 25.38 million deadweight of fresh contracts have been booked in the first 11 months of 2017, down by one fifth on a year ago.
Its share of overseas business, however, has risen sharply.
