Belgium's CLdN Cobelfret has cancelled the first of two ro-ro vessels due this year from troubled Croatian shipbuilder Uljanik Group.
The yard failed to meet the terms of the contract for the 5,500-lane-metre (lm) ship, hull number 531, Uljanik said. The deal for hull 532 remains valid.
Uljanik has lost a slew of orders in recent months - including deals with Siem and Algoma - after being hit by strikes over unpaid wages.
