Representatives of Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) are keen to cooperate on shipbuilding with Croatia's Brodosplit.
The European yard said in a statement that a delegation from MHI had visited the yard this month.
Management shared information on current and potential projects, and also discussed Brodosplit's capacity and its plans to move the yard further into the international market.
MHI's representatives "expressed their satisfaction with what they saw and showed an interest in cooperation on joint projects," Brodosplit added.
