Japan's Tsuneishi Shipbuilding has bagged an undisclosed number of orders for 88,000-dwt bulkers from domestic owners, according to industry sources.

The identity of the shipowners and details of the deals have been withheld.

Industry players believe Kambara Kisen — the shipowning arm of Tsuneishi Shipbuilding — will be one of the owners behind the ships, which the yard has named a “wide kamsarmax”.
